The Challenge

IN’n’OUT is a national garage network offering MOTs and servicing, with a growing footprint and a new ecommerce site to support online bookings. But marketing was holding them back. Everything was being done manually, which slowed the team down, limited their ability to scale and meant they couldn’t send time-sensitive messages like MOT reminders. On top of that, customer data lived in Microsoft NAV and couldn’t easily be mapped into a marketing platform. They needed an automation setup that was simple, cost-effective and would allow them to make the most of their new site and expanded network.

The Solution

We integrated Microsoft NAV with HubSpot to sync customer data in near real time, including a fix for customers with more than one vehicle. We then built a full automation setup across email, SMS and direct mail—introducing booking confirmations, MOT reminders and personalised follow-ups. To make every message count, we rolled out a testing framework to optimise subject lines, copy and design. As a result, IN’n’OUT could scale their marketing without adding resource, while delivering a much better experience for customers. Everything was built to be simple for the team to manage, and flexible enough to grow with the business.

The Result

Marketing automation made a real difference fast. Email bookings shot up by 13 times, driven by personalised, time-sensitive messages sent around key booking windows. Optimising the copy and design helped lift email revenue by 36 percent. Crucially, the marketing team now saves two days every month thanks to automation, freeing them up to focus on higher impact work. The system is now running in the background, reaching more people, more often, with more relevant messages. And the best part? It’s simple to manage, easy to scale, and fully integrated into the tools they already use.
